This cake meant more to me that any other cake we’ve made. Billy’ is the son of my elementary school art teacher, Mrs. Cox. She was the first person outside of my family that told me I had a gift. Her words and encouragement in those few years have inspired me second only to my own father Thank you Mrs. Cox for everything from simple painting lessons to a lifelong career.

Here is a pair of cakes for a retirement party. Both ladies retired from the same school. Mrs. Pyle was a second grade techer and Mrs. Tarpo was the schools receptionist.

We went with two cakes so that each one of the cakes showed off certain elements of their personalities.

This was a first for us this last weekend. We made a 3d bulldog cake for one of our daughter’s (the Fondant Maker) friends. Congrats to Mary and the rest of the class of 2008!

This fun cake was bit more traditional that we normally do, but we were very happy with the final cake! Teddy and the block are made from rice-crispy treats. We really like working this way and our customers like it too!
